Caitlin Duckworth’s private voice students culminate their semester of study in a recital performance at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University. Ms. Duckworth’s students will be performing a variety of repertoire from popular music to classical works. The recital is free and open to the public.

Upon completion of her Master’s degree at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, Caitlin Duckworth accepts a full-time voice faculty position at the esteemed music preparatory the Vivaldi Music Academy in Houston, TX. Ms. Duckworth will lead a studio of 30 plus students, as well as a youth ensemble in individualized vocal study, musicianship skills , and performance practices.

Caitlin Duckworth gives the world premiere of the role of Mariola in Jake Heggie’s newly revised Chamber Opera Out of Darkness: Two Remain at the Baltimore Theatre Project under the leadership of the composer himself and under the artistic direction of Garnett Bruce.
